Rhagori excels

Rhagori (Exceed And Excel) sold for $230,000 at the Keeneland November Sale last night. The five year old bay mare was consigned by St.George Sales. Lincoln Collins of Kern/Lillingston signed the docket.

Purchased by Alex, on behalf of owner Michael House, at last years December Sale in Tattersalls for 90,000GNS, Rhagori was transferred to California and to the barn of leading trainer Simon Callaghan. After winning her Stateside debut Rhagori continued to perform with credit and annexed the Swingtime Stakes (Listed) at Santa Anita prior to an unlucky in running sixth in the Goldikova (Grade II) on the same oval. The mare finished the 2014 season with two wins to her credit and earnings of $119,164.
